With our new stainless steel chain wear indicator, you can always keep a close eye on the wear and tear of your chains. Thanks to the high-quality material properties, it can be used in the pharmaceutical and food industries.
To reliably detect chain elongation due to wear at an early stage, a suitable measuring tool is required for the respective chain. Our wear indicators are available in a range of custom-fit designs, which are precisely tailored to your chains.
These include versions for roller chains according to ISO 606 such as 606A ASA or 606B (European type). We also offer you customized indicators for leaf chains of the LL series pursuant to ISO 4347. However, other designs are also available on request. Please do not hesitate to contact us!

Highest material quality and functional design
The wear indicators are made from high-quality corrosion resistant V2A steel. Rear stops enable clean positioning between the chain pins, even with small chains (06B-).
Application
Place the indicator on the front side of the rivet pin. For small chains (06B-), the stops mentioned above help when attaching the outer link of the pins. Offset scaling allows the wear condition to be read at the front edge of the pin above.
The first scale line is for the theoretical measurement (number of links x nominal pitch). The second line indicates 1 percent wear, and the third line indicates 2 percent wear. The fourth line indicates that the wear limit has been reached.
