Wippermann cares about environmental protection

Wippermann has committed itself to demonstrating active and continuous environmental management during the development, production and sales of its products. We consistently pursue this objective as has now been proven by the ISO 14001:2004 certificate of the German Registrar for Management Systems (Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Zertifizierung von Managementsystemen DQS) for our Kirchlengern location.

As an internationally operating company aware of its responsibility towards people and nature, Wippermann was already focusing on environmental protection in the 1970s. Since then, we combine over a hundred years of engineering experience with ecological thinking to develop numerous innovative measures to enhance products and production processes, save energy or reuse it as well as reduce emissions. During the development and manufacturing of our products, the focus is on optimising material and reducing lubricants. To this end, we comply with all statutory stipulations; our aim is to undercut these provisions through continuous investments in modern technologies.

The DQS certificate is an internationally recognised certification of a functioning, continuously improving and effectively applied environmental protection measures in the company, which confirms once again that we are on the right path to achieve a sustainable environmental management.
